Dumitru Filip

He graduated from the “Ștefan Neaga” Music College in 2011. He later continued his studies at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts in Chișinău – Department of Music and Performing Arts, Folk Singing Section (2011–2015), and at the National University of Music Bucharest – Faculty of Performance, Classical Singing Section (2015–2019).

Professional Background

In 2016, he became a tenor lyrical artist at the Comic Opera for Children, where he worked until 2019. During this period, he performed as a soloist in productions such as:
Little Dorothy by Marius Țeicu,
The Magic Flute by W.A. Mozart,
Play and Rock, an adaptation of the operetta Crai Nou by Ciprian Porumbescu.

In 2019, he joined the Radio Academic Choir as a tenor lyrical artist, performing with the ensemble during the 2019 season.

In 2021, he joined the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre as a tenor lyrical artist, appearing in productions such as:
The Gypsy Baron, Die Fledermaus, My Fair Lady, Victoria and Her Hussar, The Land of Smiles.

Within the theatre, he has also performed solo roles, including:
Candide in Leonard Bernstein’s operetta Candide.
