Alexandru Vasile

He graduated from the Orthodox Theological High School Seminary in Bucharest in 2008. He later continued his studies at Spiru Haret University, Music Department.

Professional Background

In 2012, he became a baritone lyrical artist with the “Marin Constantin” Madrigal National Chamber Choir, where he worked until 2017. During this period, he performed with the choir in concerts both in Romania and abroad, including in China, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Lithuania, Austria, and others.

In 2019, he became one of the founding members of the vocal group “Etheros”, with which he has performed concerts throughout Romania and completed a tour in Germany. He remains an active member of the ensemble.

In 2017, he joined the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre as a collaborating baritone lyrical artist, performing in productions such as:
Victoria and Her Hussar, Bonjour, bonne nuit, Paris, London – A New Story, Die Fledermaus, The Land of Smiles, Kiss Me, Kate!, Candide, My Fair Lady, The Gypsy Baron, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Dacika, Offenbach’s Tales, A Journey Through the World of Film and Musical.

Within the theatre, he has also performed solo roles such as:

As a baritone lyrical artist, he has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the George Enescu Philharmonic Choir, the “Nicolae Lungu” Choir of the Romanian Patriarchate, and the “Preludiu” Chamber Choir.

He has received numerous awards, including the “Cultural Merit Medal, Class III – Category D” in 2013.

He has also participated in numerous festivals and tours both in Romania and abroad, including the George Enescu Festival and the Beijing International Choir Festival (2014).
