“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!” is a musical cabaret that, through humor and song, explores the theme of love in all its stages: from the sweet‑and‑bitter world of dating, to the complexities of relationships, marriage, parenting, and ultimately the idea of growing old alongside the person you love.

Presented in its national premiere by the CREAS Association in partnership with the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theatre, the show brings to the forefront the theme of love and human relationships, delving into the challenges and intricacies that accompany both the search for love and the effort to maintain it throughout life.

This original production shines through the witty and insightful lyrics of Joe DiPietro, translated into Romanian by Geanina Jinaru‑Doboș, paired with the inspired and captivating music of Jimmy Roberts, together creating a memorable theatrical and musical experience.

Staged successfully in over 500 cities and ranked as the second‑longest‑running musical in Off‑Broadway history, the show offers an honest, unfiltered, yet tender perspective on human relationships—with all their ups and downs. From lovers to spouses, from in‑laws to children, the musical reminds us that, despite its challenges, love remains one of the greatest sources of joy and deep connection in our lives.
