Marius Leau

She graduated from the “George Enescu” Music High School in Bucharest in 1980, where she studied violin. She later continued her studies at the University of Pitești – Music Department.

Professional Background

In 1982, she became a violinist with the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre, where she has been performing ever since.
Since 1991, she has served as concertmaster of the theatre’s orchestra, taking part in all productions in the institution’s repertoire throughout her career.

She has attended professional training and masterclasses in Romania at the University of Pitești.

She has won numerous awards, including the Special Prize for Music at the Tampere Festival in Finland for the production “The King is Dying” by Eugène Ionesco, directed by Victor Ioan Frunză, as well as various national and international distinctions earned together with the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre.

She has also participated in numerous festivals and artistic tours in Romania and abroad, including performances in Germany, Italy, Israel, Finland, the Netherlands, Hungary, China, and many others.
