Graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest, Faculty of Musical Performance (1999), and holder of the First Teaching Degree at the “Iosif Sava” School of Arts (since 2000)
During his school and high‑school years, he participated in national classical guitar competitions and festivals, earning First and Second Prizes (such as Sinaia, between 1985–1990, and First Prize at the first international edition of the Sinaia Competition in 1996), Craiova 1990–1991, Costinești 1991, Bucharest 1995, and others.
He has given solo and chamber music recitals at the Romanian Athenaeum (1988–1989), in the country as well as abroad, including Preveza, Greece (1990), Chișinău (1990), and Germany (2003), concerts with orchestra (with conductors such as Radu Popa, 2001, or Ludovic Bacs, 1996), and recitals at various cultural events between 1998–2004.
Since 1999 and up to the present, he has collaborated consistently in musical theatre productions with emblematic cultural institutions in Bucharest, such as the National Theatre (Man of La Mancha, The Living Corpse, The Threepenny Opera), the National Opera (Othello, Falstaff), the Comedy Theatre (Dangerous Liaisons), the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theatre (Rebecca, Maria de Buenos Aires, Kiss Me Kate, Jack – Between Love and Madness, Bonjour, bon nuit, Paris!, Marco Polo and others), as well as the Comic Opera for Children (School of Rock, Matilda). He is also a collaborating instrumentalist in some of the largest private musical productions in Romania, such as Mamma Mia and Shrek.
He has been a principal instrumentalist or collaborator for well‑known soloists and bands such as Supermarket, Analia Selis, Life On Marș, Bere Gratis, Miki, etc., and has collaborated — or continues to collaborate — with some of the best orchestras in Romania (the Bucharest Metropolitan Orchestra, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, the Muntenia Symphony Orchestra, the Mundicolour Orchestra, etc.) in performances or festivals alongside renowned artists from Romania and abroad, such as Gheorghe Zamfir, Alessandro Safina, Yasmin Levy, Lara Fabian, and others
He signs the band orchestral arrangements in several projects, such as the TV show “Te vrea România” (2016), the anniversary performance “Cătălin Crișan și prietenii săi” (2017), or the show featuring music composed by George Popa, “București je t’aime” (2019). He also created the Romanian adaptation of the songs for the show “Annie” at the Comic Opera for Children (2023) and is the creator of the YouTube channels “Răzvan profu’ de chitară”, “Tutoriale cu Răzvan”, and “Trading și investiții de la zero”.
