Easter Concert

“We invite you to open your hearts to the sacred message of our Easter Concert, where music and faith intertwine to renew and uplift the spirit. It will be a special evening in which we gather to remember the supreme sacrifice and the Resurrection of Christ through the transformative power of sacred music, presenting works that reflect the profound themes of hope, salvation, and spiritual renewal.

The program features the complete Stabat Mater by G. B. Pergolesi in Part I, for soprano and mezzo‑soprano with piano accompaniment, and in Part II, a carefully curated selection of sacred music by Vivaldi, Pachelbel, Handel, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Franck, Fauré, and Massenet. The human voice will blend harmoniously with the angelic sound of the harp, in the unique performance of our special guest, Professor Dr. Miruna Vidican.

As we prepare for this Easter, let the lyricism of the voices, the impetuousness of the piano, the sensitivity of the violin, the gentle tones of the harp, and the celestial voices of the children fill your soul with the hope of salvation, peace, and light!”

Out of respect for the atmosphere appropriate to such an event and in order to preserve the continuity and spirit of the work Stabat Mater, we kindly ask you to refrain from applauding between the musical sections of this oratorio. After the intermission, however, each artistic moment may be appreciated with applause. We thank you sincerely for the understanding and support you will offer us — and especially for choosing to be, together with us, part of a shared and heartfelt experience.
