Tenor Octavian Ene was scheduled to debut on March 28 in the role of Romeo, in the premiere of the pop‑rock musical “Romeo & Juliette” by Gérard Presgurvic, directed by Kerenyi Miklos Gabor – Kero. The musical returns to the stage of the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre 16 years after its first production, bringing forth a new generation of young and talented artists who, together with established lyrical soloists, will bring to life a staging that blends the emotion of a classic story with the energy and modernity of pop‑rock music. The first performances will take place on March 27, 28, 29, and 30.
