A Jazzy Christmas Night – Sorin Zlat & Friends

The concert “A Jazzy Christmas” – Sorin Zlat & Friends will feature a Christmas‑themed program with a selection of the most beloved national and international carols, aiming to bring the magic of the winter holidays into the hearts of the audience through jazz, pop, soul, funk, and gospel arrangements, orchestrated in an original manner by pianist and composer Sorin Zlat.

The musicians joining this magical journey are important names who excel on the jazz, pop, and classical music scene: Luiza Zan, Irina Sârbu, Mihaela Alexa, Mădălina Coca, Bianca Ionescu‑Ballo, Sorin Zlat Sr., Sergiu Ferat, Ovi, Alex Baroc, Răzvan Encuna, the Jazzapella Vocal Group, and the Grove Garden Band by Sorin Zlat: Liviu Negru, Răzvan Trifan, Seby Joo, Vlad Tohănean.

The concert program will include Christmas carols and songs such as: O, ce veste minunată, Moș Crăciun, Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, Silent Night, The Christmas Song, Rudolph the Red‑Nosed Reindeer, and many others.

…says Sorin Zlat, the producer and musical director of this concert, who has over 20 national and international awards to his name and is one of the most representative jazz pianists of the new generation of Romanian artists. In recent years, he has received distinctions such as the Grand Prize at the Jacksonville Jazz Competition in Florida (2015), the Grand Prize at the Monaco Jazz Competition (2013), the award for “Best Jazz Musician”, the title of Yamaha Artist, and many others.

Since every story needs a storyteller, we are delighted to announce that the evening will be hosted by Florin “Busu” Busuioc, one of the most beloved actors and television presenters. Very few people truly “need no introduction,” and he is one of them.
