Mihăiță Radu

He graduated from the “Dinu Lipatti” National College of Arts in 1998. He later continued his studies at the National University of Music Bucharest, Voice Department, graduating in 2003 and completing his Master’s degree in 2004 at the same institution.

Professional Background

In 2004, he joined the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre as a lyrical artist (bass/baritone), performing in productions such as:
The Land of Smiles, The Phantom of the Opera, Broadway Bucharest, Countess Maritza, The Flower of Hawaii, Silvia, Suzana, The Bourgeois Gentleman, Candide, Paganini, Little Dorothy, The Obedient Little Rooster, Gulliver in the Land of the Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, The Love for Three Oranges.

Within the theatre, he has also performed solo roles such as:

He has won numerous awards, including:

  • Third Prize – Mihail Jora National Music Interpretation Competition
  • Third Prize – National Festival of Romanian Lied, Brașov
