    Georgeta Grigore

    She graduated from the National University of Music Bucharest, Faculty of Musical Performance, Classical Singing Department, in 1999. She later continued her studies at the “Transilvania” University of Brașov, completing a Master’s program in Bel Canto Art between 2005 and 2007.

    Professional Background

    In 2003, she became Principal Soloist of the Romanian National Opera in Craiova, where she performed until 2013.

    During this period, she appeared in numerous productions, performing an extensive repertoire in both soprano and mezzo‑soprano roles.

    She received the “Nicolai Ghiaurov” scholarship and attended an Academic Course and Masterclass with the renowned soprano Mirella Freni (2007–2008) at the International Bel Canto Centre in Vignola, Italy.

    In 2016, during a Gala in Bârlad, she performed an Extraordinary Concert with the “Mihail Jora” Philharmonic Orchestra (Bacău) and received a Diploma of Excellence for her entire artistic career.
