Marian Chirazi

He graduated from the “Floria Capsali” Choreography High School in Bucharest in 2007. He is currently continuing his studies at the “George Enescu” University of Arts in Iași, Doctoral School – Theatre Department.

Professional Background

In 2021, he was hired as a principal soloist in the ballet company of the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre in Bucharest, where he is currently active. During this period, he has been featured in the theatre’s ongoing repertoire.

In 2017, he danced with the Vortice Dance Company in Portugal, was invited as a dancer/soloist on a tour in Brazil, and collaborated as a dancer/soloist in television shows such as Te Cunosc de Undeva, iUmor, and X Factor.

In 2012, he worked as a dancer in television productions such as Dansez pentru tine, Vocea României, Românii au talent, and collaborated with the “Ion Dacian” Operetta and Musical Theatre as a dancer/soloist in Maria de Buenos Aires and other productions including Romeo and Juliet, Silvia, Countess Maritza, among others.

In 2008, he was hired as an ensemble dancer and was also selected for soloist roles within the ballet company of the Bucharest National Opera.

Awards and Publications

He has won numerous awards, including the Special Prize at the Romanian National Ballet Olympiad, and was nominated for “Best Ballet Soloist” at the National Opera Awards Gala.
