Andreea Toma

She graduated from the “Floria Capsali” Choreography High School in Bucharest in 1999, studying under teachers Gabriela Balasan, Eugenia Cotovelea, Anca Mândrescu, Ana Vâlcu, Corina Dumitrescu, and Mihai Babușca. She later continued her studies at the “I. L. Caragiale” National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, Choreography Department, in the class of Professor Sergiu Anghel, graduating in 2003 with the choreography of the performance Café Magique.

Professional Background

In 1999, she became an ensemble ballet dancer, and in 2003 she was appointed principal soloist of the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre, where she continues to perform to this day.

Since 1999, her activity as a ballet dancer has been complemented by work as a choreographer, assistant choreographer, and actress at the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre, signing the choreography for productions such as:

As a ballet dancer, she has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the Romanian National Opera Bucharest, the Bucharest National Theatre in the production The Bourgeois Gentleman (directed by Petrică Ionescu, choreography by Răzvan Mazilu), the National University of Theatre and Film, and TVR1 in shows such as Ploaia de Stele, Stele de 5 stele, Bravissimo, Universal Șotron.
