Răzvan Rusu

He graduated from the “Nicolae Iorga” Theoretical High School in Vălenii de Munte in 1993. In 2008, he completed his studies at the “Spiru Haret” University of Bucharest, Faculty of Music – specialization in Music Pedagogy. He later continued his Master’s studies at the same university, Faculty of Arts – specialization in Musical Art.

Professional Background

In 1998, he joined the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre as a member of the chorus.
In 2009, he became a tenor lyrical artist within the chorus department, a position he continues to hold to this day.

During this period, he has participated in all productions staged by the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre, including:
Paganini, The White Horse Inn, Lysistrata, Silvia, Viennese Blood, The Bird Seller, The Bourgeois Gentleman, Let Me Sing, Suzana, Broadway Bucharest, Victoria and Her Hussar, Countess Maritza, The Merry Widow, The Gypsy Baron, Romeo and Juliet, Rebecca, The Phantom of the Opera, A Night in Venice, A Night in Vienna, Paris, mon amour, Die Fledermaus, La Belle Hélène, Marco Polo’s Secret, Offenbach’s Tales, The Flower of Hawaii, The Fountain of Blanduzia, My Fair Lady, Hello Dolly, Kiss Me, Kate! — as well as children’s productions such as Gulliver in the Land of the Dwarfs, The Love for Three Oranges, Pac, Poc, Pic – Detectives in Fairyland.

In 2011, he completed professional training in Project Management within the SCENART program organized by the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre.

He has also participated in all festivals organized by the theatre, as well as numerous national and international tours.
