Born in Bucharest on August 3, 1988, Alexandru Ilie showed an inclination toward music from early childhood. His parents encouraged him and guided his steps toward the “George Enescu” National College of Music. He went on to study at the National University of Music Bucharest

During his studies in Romania, and later in Poland at the “Karol Lipiński” Academy of Music, conductor Constantin Grigore benefited from the guidance of renowned masters of conducting, such as Horia Andreescu, Petru Andriesei, Ilarion Ionescu‑Galați, as well as the Polish conductor
