
He graduated from the Orthodox Theological High School Seminary “Nifon Mitropolitul” in Bucharest in 2012. He then completed his studies at the National University of Music Bucharest, in the Religious Music Department (class of 2012–2015), and later earned a Bachelor’s degree from the “Justinian the Patriarch” Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Bucharest, Pastoral Department (class of 2017–2021). He is currently a Master’s student at the National University of Music Bucharest, specializing in Religious Musical Cultures.
Professional Background
Beginning in 2013, he became a founding member and assistant conductor of the male choir Cantus Domini, with which he achieved notable results at numerous music competitions and festivals, including: 2013 Graz (Austria), 2014 Istanbul (Turkey), 2015 Saint Petersburg (Russia), 2017 Preveza (Greece), 2018 Saint Petersburg (Russia) — where he received the special award “Best Male Soloist” in the Folklore category.
Since 2017, he has been a member of the Patriarchate Choir “Nicolae Lungu,” a position he continues to hold. He became a collaborating member of the Bucharest National Opera Choir in 2018, a collaboration that lasted until 2023, during which he took part in major premieres such as Otello, Tosca, Requiem (Gabriel Fauré), Carmina Burana, Il trovatore, Turandot, Samson et Dalila, and Lohengrin.
In 2019, he participated as a backing vocalist in the Eurovision competition alongside Laura Bretan.
Since 2023, he has been a member of the choir of the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre, as a collaborating lyrical artist (baritone), performing on the stage of this prestigious institution in productions such as Rebecca, Die Fledermaus, The Gypsy Baron, My Fair Lady, Marco Polo’s Secret, and Meșterul Manole.
