Sueño latino

“Sueño latino” was born in the spring of 2023, created by Daniel and Ioana Găină‑Cojuharov through the Artpulse Association, starting from the idea of approaching a repertoire that would resonate with the Romanian cultural space—music that carries familiar vibrations and emotions, close to the audience’s heart. “Sueño latino,” translated as “Latin dream,” is a concept‑recital whose repertoire includes classical works from Spain, Argentina, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, and Cuba. We thus propose an evening dedicated to classical Latin‑inspired music, performed live with the support of a chamber ensemble. The team consists of two violinists, a cellist, a pianist, and four soloists—two sopranos, a mezzo‑soprano, and a tenor.

The project was conceived to draw the audience into the world of Latin‑influenced classical music. It brings together instrumental precision and refinement with vocal power, uniting professional artists on the same stage. “Sueño latino” arrives at the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre after being previously presented at Suțu Palace, Mogoșoaia Palace, the Tecuci Athenaeum, Arthub Bucharest, and the Bucharest Municipal Museum, where it enjoyed notable success.
