He graduated from the “Octavian Stroe” Choreography High School in Cluj-Napoca in 1986. Later, he continued his studies at the “Spiru Haret” Faculty of Law in Bucharest.

In 1986, he became a ballet dancer at the Romanian National Opera in Timișoara, where he worked until 1986.
