    Claudia Deleanu

    She graduated from the “George Enescu” Music High School in Bucharest in 1995, studying flute under Professor Sevastița Lipoczi. She later continued her studies at the National University of Music Bucharest, Faculty of Musical Performance – Singing Department, under the guidance of Maria Slătinaru Nistor, Hero Lupescu, and Pompeiu Hărășteanu.

    Professional Background

    In 1997, she joined the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre as an alto lyrical artist, performing in productions such as:
    My Fair Lady, Candide, Kiss Me, Kate!, The Gypsy Baron, The Land of Smiles, Victoria and Her Hussar, Romeo and Juliet, Rebecca, The Merry Widow, Silvia, The Phantom of the Opera, Countess Maritza.

    Teaching Activity

    Between 2004 and 2013, Claudia Deleanu taught classical singing at the “George Enescu” National College of Music in Bucharest, applying the experience gained since 1998 alongside the distinguished professor Emilia Crutescu.

    Between 1990 and 2003, she sang in the Symbol Children’s Choir, the Romanian Radio Children’s Choir, and the “Domnița Bălașa” Church Choir.

    Masterclasses and Awards

    She attended masterclasses with the renowned opera singer Mariana Nicolesco at the “Hariclea Darclée” Foundation in Brăila (2006).
    She has received several awards, including the Special Jury Prize at the National Romanian Lied Competition.

    Royal Art Muzzyk Association

    In 2014, she founded the Royal Art Muzzyk Association, serving as its president to this day, creating the concept of hybrid-opera.
    The productions created with young artists (Dream at 16, Intermezzo, Sentimente, Belleza Rivale, Piccolo Baroque, Nu-i bai, Îngerii lui Crăciun, Le monde muzzyk) have been presented at:

    • the foyer of the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta Theatre
    • the Mozart Salon and UnderGrant Hall of the Comic Opera for Children
    • the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest – “Mihail Sadoveanu” Central Branch
    • various cultural institutions in Bucharest and across the country

    The association has carried out two successful projects with the support of Bucharest’s Sector 3 City Hall:
