
She graduated from the “George Enescu” High School of Arts, Viola Department, in 1978. She later continued her studies at Spiru Haret University, Faculty of Music Pedagogy.
Professional Background
She collaborated for three years with the George Enescu Philharmonic, performing in the viola section.
In 1990, she joined the “Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theatre as a lyrical artist (alto), performing in productions such as:
Plaisir d’amour, The Circus Princess, Suzana, Countess Maritza, The Merry Widow, Paganini, Silvia, Victoria and Her Hussar, The Gondoliers, My Fair Lady, The Gypsy Baron, A Night in Venice, Ball at the Savoy, Marco Polo’s Secret, Rosemarie, The Bird Seller, The Bourgeois Gentleman, Rebecca, The Phantom of the Opera, Romeo and Juliet, Mam’zelle Nitouche, Offenbach’s Tales, Die Fledermaus, The Land of Smiles, La Belle Hélène, The Fountain of Blanduzia, Lysistrata, The Flower of Hawaii, Hello Dolly, Candide.
Within the theatre, she has also been cast in small solo roles in productions such as:
My Fair Lady, Candide, Offenbach’s Tales, Rebecca, Ball at the Savoy, The Gondoliers, Silvia, Plaisir d’amour, The Bird Seller, Countess Maritza.
She has participated in numerous festivals and tours both in Romania and abroad, including:
the Sibiu Festival, performances in Timișoara and Alba Iulia, the “Life is Beautiful” Festival in Bucharest, the George Enescu Festival, as well as tours in Israel, Germany, and Italy.
